U.A.E residents can now apply for a 90-day visit visa for their friends or family members visiting the country. The visa requires a refundable deposit of Dh1,000 and can be obtained by individuals through the GDRFA website, app, or typing centers. While travel agencies are currently unable to apply for these visas on behalf of their clients, they can assist in the process by providing information on the application process. The new visa option was introduced as part of the UAE’s Advanced Visa System, which implemented significant changes to entry visas in October 2022.
