Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has launched a video call service to process transactions related to financial services, entry permits, legal advice, and more. The GDRFA has processed over 250,000 transactions in just two months since the service was rolled out. This service allows individuals to complete transactions and provide necessary documents through interactive video communication with GDRFA employees, without the need to visit their offices physically. The GDRFA officials have praised the service for its efficiency, convenience, and the high number of inquiries it has received. The service is expected to expand to become a 24-hour service, reducing the need for physical visits to GDRFA service centers.
